I'm sorry I don't know any of their names, but I am thinking about all the ladies who have little food stands on Front St. at night and sell all that wonderful home cooked food at such low prices.
Are they all OK? What about their cooking equipment, portable awnings, etc.?
Replacing any of the lost stoves, etc. should be at the top of the list for the people who are buying relief supplies. These women need to keep earning a living AND they can cheaply feed the troops who are helping with recovery as well as people doing the first wave of reconstruction work.

Carman Padillo serves that wonderful burrito just across from Tarzan's. Her daughter Brittany, young 14 yr old sister Rita, and mother live behind Elvies Kitchen. Very poor situation. An American father took off to Alaska. Miss Carman works VERY hard, its a real struggle to keep little Brittany happy. My "mother" Miss Shirley with da smilin eyes, serves da red beans and rice with stewed chicken next to the telephone Gazebo in front of Big Daddys. If ya mother is no longer around, she'll take ya in. Miss Shirley lives near the back of San Juan area, adjacent to the so called San Pedro River. Shirley supports many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, ect.ect.ect. She is da Mother Love of San Pedro. Thank you for thinkin of all those nice vendors.
