My husband and I will be going to Belize for the first time on Friday. We are staying at El Pescador and I was wondering if any of you have stayed there? I found this website last night and you all have been very helpful. This is all new for us! We like the party atmosphere and Shark Ray sounds great! Do you think El Pescador is nice? We were thinking about upgrading our room to a Villa but we have no idea??
If you could help I would really appreciate it!

No worries there; El Pescador is a great place; you won't regret it! If you can upgrade to one of villa's I'd do it.

Ambergris Caye is great and if you're like the rest of us, you will return. But next time, fly down south to Punta Gorda and stay at El Pescador PG (Punta Gorda). It's ran by Jim and Debbie Scott, yes Scott. We went in the off season and were treated wonderfully. Check out their website Elpescadorpg.com. It's beautiful. We took another short excursion up the Rio Dulce into Guatemala (Livingston) prices are significantly cheaper. Except for the resort, but well worth it. Enjoy the island, but venture inland. Ciao, Di

No Silky, why do you have always those naughty thoughts???
The showers (bathrooms) in the villa's are a jewel.
When you want to take a shower, you are standing actually kind of outside, while you still have the privacy. Lots of greens are around you, and it is just wonderful.
