I am in the process of making plans for arrival May 27th and departing June 3rd. My question is if it is safe in the evening for a single woman on AC. None of my travel companions are able to go during this time so I am on my own. I love to mingle, socialize, and meet new people. My intentions would be to dine out nights and then go somewhere to listen to music for a spell, but I am not a Jaguar's and Big Daddy's type. I was there during the same week last year and never felt unsafe during the day. I never ventured out alone at night. I recognize that one must exercise common sense regarding where they go and when; however, any input would be appreciated!

I just returned from my second trip there alone last month, I was there 2 weeks. I love traveling their alone, the people, culture and entire island is very safe for a female traveling alone. I went when I was 22 and 23 yrs old. I feel safer their than back home alone!

you are you walking in areas that are too well lighted........stick to the shadows and you might get lucky.

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.
