We just booked four days of fishing in March. It's my husband, myself and child with our guide. Since I haven't been to AC in some time I was just wondering if $150. sounds right for a half day..? Seems reasonable but I would just like to be sure. Thanks!

That does sound reasonable to me. Other Guides are from 170 an half day and up.

Yes, $150 - 175 is pretty common for the half day fishing. $225-275 for the full day.

Barbara....has your sister been complaining to you these past few days about the extreme cold we are getting with here in the Pocono's?? Has she ever been to Belize? This weather makes our upcoming trip all the more inviting!

RMT - I spoke to my sis yesterday and she said it was 2 degrees! No, she has never been to Belize and probably never will. She is the Hawaii/Bahamas/Virgin Island type. I'm the black sheep in the family! Funny isn't it, that even though I have a Belize travel business and can bring everybody for cheap or no cost, no one in my family is remotely interested in coming to Belize. Well, except for one lone Uncle but he is kind of a black sheep too! They don't know what they are missing!!! Oh well - Belize is probably better off without them!

had to laugh at the comments about your family since we have the same kind! they prefer cruises or club med or huge resort AI type! Actually meeting local people does NOT appeal to them.

i guess we know we're onto OUR KIND of place when they don't want to go there! and you just confirmed it...it is probably "black sheep" heaven! can't wait!
