Hi. Has anyone stayed recently at the Holiday hotel. Please give some insite on the surroundings and what to expect room wise. Do we need travelers checks? Are credit cards used widely, and are atm's available? Late Feb. 2004 travelers are their many bugs? No see-ums? Karp wants to know if cooler is needed to keep Belikens chilled? Is water safe to drink? Thanks an old Karp from the Detroit River.

Rooms basic and clean
Bring travellers cheques
Credit cards accepted alsmost everywhere

Where is the one ATM located? It wasn't there last year or I wasn't aware of its location.

New and at the Belize Bank

If it's like the other Belize Bank ATMs you can use it to get a cash ADVANCE on your bank card but cannot access your bank checking or savings account outside Belize.
