are there any good restaurants/bars where you can go to watch the sunset on AC? seems to me that they must all face east out to sea...so great sunrises...but not so good sunset views?

places like negril jamaica or key west are known for their spectacular sunsets...but i'm thinking this isn't one of the AC highlight experiences since i haven't read much mention of sunsets or seen photos...am i wrong?

Hey Mike:
How about a sunset cruise on El Gato catamaran with Capt. Geraldo.
It is wonderful, have some rum punch
and watch the sun go down. Nothing better.
Just call geraldo on his cell phone 608 8036.
to arrange it. smile smile

Don't know about any restaurant views but some of the best sunsets are from there on A.C.
This was from the Tres Cocos area just north of the cut overlooking the lagoon.

Best viewing of the sunsets is from a boat moving up or down the island, that big red ball of sun, flashing thru the trees, like God has a spotlight on you, in his turquoise water.
Magical ride.

Barry that picture site did not open for me.

A new spot to watch the sunset that we liked last week on our visit was The Hammock House. It is just north of the cut. (The hand ferry now runs 24 hours a day.) There is a 2 for 1 Belikin/Rum special, plus live music. Grab a drink, a snack, an empty hammock and enjoy the view.

I just got back from my trip, and have catching up to do, but I do have photos of this sunset and will post them later.

Sigh... I wish I were still in Belize. It's too cold here.
