Hello everyone, the lovely nancyo and I are coming down the for last week of May. Can't wait since as i sit here writing this Raleigh North Carolina is getting dumped on by snow with sleet and freezing rain forecast for this evening. Fun huh?
A question for those in the know, how much of our travel cash should we convert to Belizian Dollars? We are firm believers in american express, since our points got us the 2 free airline tickets, and would like to use amex as much as possible but should we carry US$ or change it to belizian ahead of time.

AMEX is not as widely accepted as MC/Visa. Take the US currency and mostly in $20 or less...many small places can't handle the larger bills. No need to exchange currency. EVERYONE accepts US dollars, readily.

amex is not the card here but ask some do take it ,visa or master rules here ,but if you bring cash and go to a money changer in town like fourex money exchanger check the spelling ??? any way it is across from trition realestate. you can get for every us dollar, 2.09 or 2.10 back belize bucks$$ so I would change some us to get the bonus or the float 9 or ten cents extra is good .. live the dream and enjoy

mickeyo he takes cash only us funds ,and you should book now !!!as there is no money due till the day you sail !!!! but hold the date or dates as he is very popular ,and a good bet for having a hell of a good time .and producing non stop fishing action ...
