tofino-
I think you're really going to enjoy BB. As for rental prices, you should contact Monkey Business and I'm sure they can tell you for sure, but I seem to remember bikes were like US$5-10 a day. Golf carts could be rented for as little as one hour for US$10 or else I think they were like $65 for a full day.
Local news here in Mpls sounds like you guys got two feet of snow last week. Bet you can't wait to hop a plane... Have fun!

one question you had that I did not see answered as yet - books. BB does have a small exchange, as do most hotels. I always leave mine, not wanting to carry any back. Often, I go back & get the ones I originally brought down (if they're still there) and give them directly to some of the locals I've met.
Jeff - nic pix! Looks like you were in 329 at BB?

mickeyo- the 1/2 day is $175 and the full day is $225. Thats only $50 more for twice the time, I say do the whole day if you want to spend time snorkeling/swimming/eating. If you don't like to swim, and just want to catch fish, then the half day would leave more time for other things that day.....

klcman,
About books, thanks for the heads up. I've been leaving books I've read all over the world, so will plan on leaving them at the resort. Glad to know I can get something new to read.
