New member to the forum. Just found the forum this week.
I was in AC about 8 years ago with some friends and stayed at the Palm House. I am going back at the end of this month for a week with wife and another long time friend. The restaurants I am fairly clear on from the other postings here, but wondering what bars not to miss and where the latest nightlife, if any, will be hanging out. Are there specialty drinks I should definitely try? I remember the Belikin, in returnable bottles with a deposit, and Elvi's kitchen, but the only other bar I hit was in the Victoria House on a rainy day. Any advice?

Hammock House, Fido's, Sharks, Wet Willies, Barefoot Iguana, Big daddy's, Jaguar's temple. The last three are late night (12-3AM).

Just finally caught the most recent Wild On Islands last night and AC was the first topic - all they showed we all the bars and nightlife. Check your local listings for E! as I am sure it will reply again.

Your info is much appreciated. Sure nice to be able to get the best info from pro's on this message board. Do you mean Coconuts Hotel, and the bar there being Lucifer's or are you speaking of a completely different place?

The bar at Coconuts Hotel has been renamed "Pirates Pub". Margie and others didn't like the previous name.

I would have to agree about the new name. Sounds much better. I think we will be seeing a lot of Margie. Will be in town Feb 28 - March 6 and staying at Coconuts. By the way, the weather forecasts have shown a lot of rain and showers in Belize lately. Has San Pedro been getting a lot of rain lately?
