A non-drug remedy for seasickness is wrist bands. They are available at Rite Aid or a store that specializes in marine stuff. They work by accupressure - no drugs involved and no drowsiness. They press on your inner wrist area and - believe it or not - they work. They're not the best if you're scuba diving because they'll get wet (made of fabric) but work well on a boat. We travelled for a week aboard a small ship on the Sea of Cortez in some pretty rough seas and I (not prone to seasickness) loaned my pair to a lady who was pretty green. She wore them for several days and was delightfully not sick. Happy sailing!
