Anyway, my lovely wife and I are planning a trip to Ambergris Caye this April. We are looking for ideas on the neater places to stay, SCUBA, relax, par-take in nightly activities etc.

Rick and Linda--- Lot's to do, lot's of great places to stay,depends on your interests and your bankroll to some extent. Do you want to be near town or a little bit farther away? Do you like alot of night life, or do you just want to chillout and take it easy? Do you want to fish, snorkel,dive or sight see(ruins, other islands, mainland and many other things to do). Whatever you choose I am sure you will have a great time, and if you specify what you are looking for you will get many great ideas from this board. TIMO

I agree with TIMO, check the lodging page, check out the maps for the locations of the condo/resorsts you are interested in, tours you may be interested in, then shout out... OR do a search on the board for other info too.

I read a couple of replies about Ambergris and what we are looking for is a quant stay, We plan on SCUBA diving at least one day, would like to walk in to town, shop a bit, enjoy night life of chilling out. Meals.doesn't really matter, we are very flexable.
