Capt. Morgan has a fast skiff and it only takes about 10 minutes to San Pedro. You just go into the office and let them know you need a ride. ms

Unless things have changed since I was at Captain Morgan's in November, their boat doesn't take you to town at your convenience. You're welcome to hitch a ride when they do send their boat to town (for guest pick up's / drop off's) but these times vary day to day. Also, they didn't run boats after dark. In my opinion, it's worth finding another couple to split a golf cart for 3, 4, or 5 days to simplify the process (that is, if you want to eat several lunches/dinners in town).

Cathy and Richard, They do have bikes you can rent, youll have to cross the little cut there which is fun, as they pull you accross it on a floating bridge by hand, neat experience, think it costs about 5bze to cross it with a bike. It is a mile or maybe two on a bike to get to town from Capt.Morgans, not much going on the first part of the ride, but then once you cross the cut, you enter town, its a nice way to see the whole town, very cool! As far as the taxi part, I dont believe taxis can cross it, golfcarts can however with maybe 10BZE, could be off a few bucs. They have an in house musician there at morgans named Louie, great guy, knows tons about islands all over the world, guys been traveling islands for 15 years. Plays classic rock. Tell him Adam says hi if you remember, he'll know who I am. Captain morgans is a very nice place. There are some great peaceful, private restaurants up there over looking the ocean, very peacful on the north end. I say great choice!

We liked Captain Morgan's a lot. My wife and I are currently contemplating a return trip there this year. You can rent bikes from them, but I think they weren't working the week we were there. You can rent bikes from Joe's (in town) for cheaper.

Great thanks guys...........Theres a little market up on the north end by morgans that you can get a few things at, and ofcourse you can always carry a back pack into town on the boat if you want to get certain things that maybe the little store near capt's doesnt have.
