Hello Everyone-

I am coming to AC for the first time with a group of 6 (4 girls 2 guys age 23-25) March 6-13th . I have been reading this message board over the last 6 weeks and really appreciate the info everyone has posted.

Based on what I have read we have booked our stay at the Corona Del Mar and will be planning a cave river trip, snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley, Fishing trip (not sure which boat to take), sunset dinner cruise, Mayaan ruins trip, and many Belikins and Rum Punch.

I was hoping to get a few more questions answered, first what is this "Chicken Drop" event that goes on and will there be one during the dates we will be there?

Also, is there anything else we should be sure to do while we are there?

Freeslouz--- There are lots of great guides on AC for fishing, my two favorites are Juan Alamilla(011-501-226-2009) and Pancho Verde(011-501-226-2104).They will definetly put you on fish, and will give you a great day on the water. You could also combine fishing with snorkeling, or a beach BBQ- any combo you like. The only question would be putting your whole group on one boat, as the type of boats that are commonly used are not that large, and trying to fish more than two or three at one time can be a problem. Give them a call and see what you can work out-- usually very accomadating. As for the chicken drop, if nothing else it is a great place to "people watch",and have afew laughs along with a few Belikins. Hope this helps. Have a great trip! TIMO
