Just thought I would write and give a brief trip report. We had a great time. Stayed at Banana Beach, which was perfect. Good location, 15 mins to town and a good beach to swim, clean, big rooms, great staff, and the El Devino resturant was the best food and service we had in the 7 days we were there.Holchan should not be missed, it was great and our guide, Alfonszo was really good. The north end gave a different light to the island as it was quiet and more remote. Every where we ate was good and the drinks were good. The traffic in San Pedro was always busy and at times it was scary. You weren't sure which side of the street to walk on for fear of being hit by a cab, golf cart or bike. And we had some rain and the streets were slick. After you have ridden with a cabby a few times your almost afraid to rent a cart or bike and have a cab coming up behind you. Everyone was very friendly, guest as well as the locals. We had a great time and are already planning for next winter.
U.S. reallity hit us at the airport when we arrived. It was about 25 degrees and our car has been stolen from the park and ride. Wish we were back on AC.
