Nice! Beachfront minisuite. Can't go wrong there. I really have enjoyed the two times we stayed at Ramon's. We had a beachfront cabana. Room was clean, nicely appointed, right on the beach, engulfed by palm trees, with a little front porch. The bathroom was a little small, but there is a vanity right outside so that helped. We only stayed a week each time so we didn't care about having a kitchen. The pool is beautiful. The bar is nice with very friendly staff. Snorkeling under the pier is fun with lots of fish and an occasional manta. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of flowers and greenery and well maintained. The beach is really beautiful and raked everyday. You are close to town and many restaurants. Some boarders talk about Ramon's being this big party place that can be noisey but, both times I have found it to be kinda quiet. IMHO Ramons' is a great choice with the only real draw back being the room we had was a bit small. However, I was willing to over look that since we didn't spend much time in our room. One other nice thing is that you can exchange you travelers checks right at the front desk. With all that being said, when we return this August we are going to stay at the Palms right next door. Two reasons for this 1) we wanted to try someplace new and 2) we are staying for two weeks and wanted more room and a kitchen. Let me know if you have any other specific questions. Have fun no matter where you choose to stay. mobunny
