After seeing the Fine Living Special on Belize last night where they showed the inside of a Mata Chica's beachfront casita I am more indecisive than ever. I just booked a tree-top suite at Portofino for our honeymoon (no royal orchid our week).
Just 2 questions.
The porches at Portofino in the ttsuites look nice and big. How are the porches-if any at Mata Chica?
The shower at Mata Chica looked cool on TV. Anyone have info on the showers/baths at Portofino in the tt suites? Any pics of either?

Rooms at both places are fantastic.
I prefer the food at Mata Chica.

Fantastic bathrooms in the TT suites at Portofino as well. I would say porch on the tt suites at Portofino have better views since they are up on stilts. But MC is pretty awesome as well! Can't go wrong at either one.
