Does anyone know why all the shoes are lined up along the shore little south of Mata Chica? They are all in a row.

Lost and found is right. lol
A lot of garbage wash up on the beaches and with that sometimes comes shoes.
We thought it was quite imaginative of those home owner(s)to line all the different shoes up as a kind of border down the pathway.
Better then cans, diapers, or any other kinds of garbage that washes up. eek

Does anyone know if this shoe thing started before Keith? or due to Keith?

I don't know about the Mata Chica sandal walkway, but I do know that when I was in Coz during Mitch, I've never seen so many sandals and thongs littering a roadway in my life. Shoe, coconut, sandal, coconut, coconut, thong, coconut, log, sandal, thong . . .and on and on and on.

We had one pal with us that had forgotten to bring thongs/sandals with him from home. He wasn't with us on our adventure that day, so we harvested a "pair" for him. smile

Those are lost soles. Now if you picture a lost soul, that would be a picture of Pedro. :p

And Now Danny: there are a lot of adjectives I could use to describe Pedro, but fool would not be too high up on the list. :p
