Only a couple of years old, suites are reasonably spacious, beach area is not all that. Location fantastic.

Too much noise. Did not like downtown area. Beach dismisall at that location. Pool area in the shade. Generally, not well kept. rust. No hot water. Pretty room, twice as small as my room at the banana beach resort. We had ocean view. Big compressor by ocean makes too much noise.

Also, the refrigator in our room sounded like a big truck. had to unplug it so we could sleep.

However, the people who run the place are very nice.

Would not stay there again. Banana Beach highly recommended. Reynold and staff made us very comfortble.

Unless things have deteriorated drastically in the last year, my experience at the AquaMarina suites was directly opposite of the o danny post.
The location, accomodations, and staff served my needs quite well.

I stayed at Aqua Marina a month ago and have no complaints. It was very clean and the staff were very good. Yes as at a lot of places the beach is not first class but we found it quite enjoyable sitting there because a lot of locals walk by all day and it's fun meeting some of them. We found the rooms quite comfortable. We love to stay downtown to enjoy the activities and vibrancy of being in that area. A lot of things within a short walk.A five minute walk to what I consider the best place to have breakfast, Estel's. Right on the beach and a great place to rub your toes in the sand while you have an order of Mayan Eggs
,OJ,coffee and a side of fryjacks!! Yum YUM
