Greetings from D.C. My wife and I are arriving next week. Decided last night and booked the trip this morning. We'll be staying at a combo of Blue Tang and Aqua Marina suites.

Wife isnt much of a diver. I am! I hear Blue Hole may not be worth the trip out.

Can you recommend the "must see" dive spots?

Also, I'd be interested in splitting the cost of a a fishing charter if anyone is interested.

Are you staying at Aquamarina Suites and your wife at the Blue Tang, or vice versa?

I highly recommend the Blue Hole dive day with Amigos del Mar. Do a search on the Blue Hole and you'll see some great posts.

A couple of the bars stay open late, late, late. I've never stayed long enough at Daddy's to be told it was closing time and I've been there late, late, late from time to time. (never the night before the Blue Hole day though, of course. Um, well, OK there was that one time, but on my way home that morning, I told them I wouldn't be going and I had to pay for it anyway. Served me right.)

Hey Paul! I'm leaving this Saturday & would be interested in sharing that half day charter! Would probably be myself & hubby. Sunday or Tuesday would work great. Thoughts?

Paul, one more idea (don't know where I got half day charter-must have Belize on the brain:), booking with Capt Bicho would be cool and even more economical for a full day, hmmmmmm....

Brenda, We will be at the Blue Tang Inn for the first three days. After that, possibly the Aqua Marine Suites next door. Check both locals. Ask for Paul and Lee Ann. Give us a hollar when you arrive. We wont book a fishing trip until Sunday (so we can hear from you first).
