Definitely bring them. I have always kicked myself for allowing my wife to exclude them from the luggage.

John only if you are an avivd bird watcher.

Resorts are close to the beach, so Babe Watching is good w/o binoculars.

If you got'em bring'em.

I just came back and do wish I brought my binoculars mostly for looking at that reef that was so close but still so far away by eye.

We had ours and used them quite a bit. They're great to have when you take the side trips and the guides are pointing out animals in the trees and such. If you don't already have some, purchase the small ones....they take up so little room in your backpack on day trips.

We always bring them when visiting the islands. Hubby likes to watch the birds. Yeah, right, I'm sure that's what he's looking at.

Don't forget the zip-lock bags for storing them while out on the boat.
