I have asked the owner to let me know of the surrounding businesses to get a better idea of the location. Do you really feel this property is bogus? I haven't booked the home yet thank goodness! Are there any other beach front homes that would accomadate 4 couples?

something about the "views" from the windows inside those rooms looks fishy to me...i don't think you would be able to see the shore and properties across a body of water like they picture...anywhere on AC...could be wrong but i'd be careful about this one without more info...

Mikell, I thought the views were fishy too. Shaver, I don't know what your budget is but Casa Tortuga is fabulous. It comes complete with a cook/housekeeper and private pool. Maria prepares 3 meals daily including desserts, appetizers, and frozen drinks all day long. Quite possibly some of the best meals I've evr eaten; and that is no exaggeration.

I just heard back from the owner and he said it was near Happy Grumpy dive shop and el patio and Captain Pablos. Does anyone know where this is? I really appreciate the help!

Try M & M rentals. Casa De Lisa is 4 bdrms and it it right on the ocean. Just got back from there last night. We had Casa Redondo which is right next door. They have a nice pier for sitting on or swimming off of.

O'Farrell House is fab! Great location too!

the o'farrell house really does look great...here's a picture we took of it on our beach walks...it really does catch your eye...and i agree...great location near town.

If you are into serenity and an absolutely beautiful pool, Casa Tortuga is the place. Visited some people I met there this year that rented Casa Tortuga for a week. They had difficulty leaving the place, Maria's cooking was so good. House is decorated to the hilt. Great views from the roof too. A pricey place, but well worth it if you are looking to relax. Only, and I mean only downfall was the distance to town. That is also fixed with the rental of a golf cart.......

Well, the owner says between Happy & Grumpy, El Patio and capt pablos...hmmmmm

lets see H & G is 1.5 mi south of town , NOT on the beach, and according to their website, minutes FROM the beach (that description could be applied to aywhere on AC ) and El Patio is now intown, between Front & Middle streets, maybe all we need to do is find Capt Pablo and triangulate! Ha!

The info supplied by the owner(?) needs to be clarified ALOT. Makes ya wonder if he/she has ever been there
