7 sleeps left and my hubby and I are on our way. Although we are first timers, I have got so much information from this board that we feel familiar with San Pedro already. I have one last question for every individual on this board.....what, in your opinion, is the "must do" activity once we are there? Dorothy

someitmes it's not what you do that's important, it's what you don't do........don't forget to take a break, relax and de-stress.

Invite Paisano to be your personal tour guide for the island.... you'll see things that only he knows about... or imagines. Trust me, you'll thank me later. eek

He is the island icon!! I think my wife & I ran into him at five different places through the week. The best encounter was at Elvi's. He came in the front door & did a complete walk through the entire place. He had a walking stick & the staff nodded to him as he went by. He went right back out the door, with his baseball hat on sideways!! Paisano, one of a kind..

For the un-initiated.... dear dear Paisano was literally the richest man in Belize at one time... literally.... his money and property was all confiscated when a new government, etc took control. He's never been quite the same since.
