Goody - Thanks so much for that information. it really helps in planning. I'm sure you know how it is... this much for food, this much for booze, this much for fishing...Do you know if Severo has a website or how to contact him? We'd definitely like to book at least 1 day with him for sight fishing bones. As our time to leave gets closer, I'm starting to understand why you chose the li'l jumper as your icon - its really tuff to sit still and wait!! Sharon wink

Sharon...glad I could help. Now I can help others out and give all the old timers a little rest. You can reach Severo at [email protected] He's quick at getting back to you...we have his phone # still packed away...I realy am not looking forward to all this unpacking. Let me know how things turn out...when are you leaving and where are you staying?...Goody

Thanks to both of you, Goody and Raskage. I'll be contacting Severo (at Servero etc...) and if there's a fishing god up there somewhere, booking him! We're doing our first serious trip for bones and permit and we need all the help we can get! Goody, we're arriving on AC 6/1/04, and not sure yet where we're staying. Based on all the great info on these boards, our "druthers" and cost, we're leaning toward The Palms Condos. It seems there are a multitude of great places to stay so we're not too worried about that. Fishing, however, is another kettle of ....etc. laugh

fishing is, of course, the most important part of the trip. unless it's your honeymoon, in which case you only get one day....
If you don't book the guide of your choice, check again a day or two before. never know when there will be a cancellation. severo was open the day after i went out with him, but being our honeymoon and all... oh well.

I had a wedding couple once and the bride had surprised her hubby to be by taking a fly fishing course as her wedding gift to him!
