The reason you have so many beers on your day planer is that the belikin long necks are only 7oz. and the ultra lights are only 3oz. Thats why they go down so fast and easy.

JohnB Relax, take a deep breath, live through this board every spare moment you have, it got me through! But don't rush it too much, because you get there, then you get back here and then you're sad like me. 20 days-piece of cake! I mean Caye Lime Pie!

Trash the day planner, You want to be able to sample some good rum drinks also, and maybe, just maybe, you will have some days where you will eat enough at breakfast, then some drinks before noon, that you will not be hungry for lunch. You want to stay flexible on San Pedro. Never know how your schedule might change. Go with the flow......LOL

Have all the fun you want to, plenty of time for withdrawal symptoms when you return. Never really looked for any Cuban Rum, One Barrel is great stuff, local and pretty cheap. I'm a rum "sipper", straight no ice, when the mood strikes me. My favorites would have to be One Barrel or Ron del Barrilito. You might check the rum and cigar shop on middle street if the supermarket doesn't have any.
Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

Middle street (Pescador), about a block north of the airport end, east side of the street. Can't remember the name, but they have a sign in the window for rum and cigars. You can usually get cuban cigars at the markets, but they can tend to be a bit old and dry.
