Following an initial service April 6th at Bob and Marlys Brown's home in
Tres Cocos, Francis Wilson, Co-ordinator for the Anglican Bishop, The Rt.
Reverend Sylvester Romero, has made arrangements for Fr. Mal Roberts and his
wife, Mary, to hold services in San Pedro the first Sunday of every month.

Services will be at 9 a.m. at the Hammock House, just north of the Boca del
Rio ferry landing. This provides tables, a covered area and a set time and
place for services.

Fr. Mal and Mrs. Mary Roberts have recently come as volunteer missionaries
to Belize. They are living in Punta Gorda and serving the four Anglican
Churches in that area. In addition, they will be working with two other
missionaries, Mr. Vernon and Mrs. Francis Wilson, to start an Anglican
Church in San Pedro.

It would be great to Spread the News! about the availability, time and place
of the service! Please tell anyone you think might be interested.

Only in San Pedro would there be church services held at a gin mill!!!! Is Barefoot the Bishop??
I'll bet he knows some gospel tunes!! Just think up there you're that much closer to the objective!! Hey if you can't mix humor with religion you may as well hang it up. Look at some areas of the world that are a mess, all due to religious fanatics & there is nothing funny about them.

Best of luck on the services

ohhhh man, and I thought that being a Pastors wife I could use my "get outta church free" card while on vacation! Wish them God's blessing and sign me up for the front row ... hmmm .... haven't decided if that's for the service or for the bar!

Now where did I put that icon of the smily with the halo?

I will be in SP the last Sunday of the month. Are there any churches that have a service that Sunday?

Yupers - but I'm not sure about times of services or the locations, so hopefully some long timers on the board can help with that. I did notice a Church of God in town as well as Catholic churches.

There are lots of religious services all over the island especially on the weekend nights. Not necessarily at churches per se, usually ouside under a tarp or such, but all about God. Ask at your hotel or ask around in town.
