Hi all, I am new to this messaging process. My husband and I and another couple are considering going to Ambergris in July. We have heard it is the rainy season. Since the husbands are going to dive and the wives are going exploring, we dont want to get rained out. Does anyone have experience with July travel? What should we expect? I am anxious to go, it sounds beautiful!!

My husband and I were there last July and we had only one day of rain. A few brief showers would pass through but no big deal. I would say the wind was pretty constant which keeps the bugs away and the heat in check as well.

My husband and I were in AC last July for our honeymoon. We were there for 8 days and it only rained one day and cleared up by noon. The only problem we had with bugs was when we went to the mainland to see the ruins. We are planning another trip this July with another couple.

I've been in Belize, and usually in San Pedro, for the last 13 or 14 Julys, and the weather has generally been pretty good. But any given week it can vary a lot, in Belize as elsewhere.

We have been there on July 4th for three years...Last year it rained( and I mean RAIN one day ,then the hurrican scare came)...So we are going back this year (July2nd)I guess you can tell we LOVE it...........Before & after the rain is worth it all.....Johnboy
