PATLAF,
Your "can anyone identify this fish" pic has three species of fishes:
blue tang with a remora attached and horse-eye jacks.

WOW, thanks for sharing.

You have seen some very nice parts of the mainland.....I felt right at home laugh

It's like being in two different parts of the world, isn't it smile

Hi Suzanne126,
I don't remember exactly where that was. At the time we were spending a couple of days at Crystal Paradise Resort and we spent one whole day driving the area of Mountain Pine Ridge...we saw SO MANY wonderful sights that day it's hard to distinguish. We also stopped at a lot of other resorts to take photos and tour the properties.

NY GAL,
Yes, there is no comparison between the Mainland and the Cayes. I guess that is what is so wonderful about Belize...it's so diverse.
I really don't know if I could pick my favourite part of the country.

I know your feeling. We have a place purchased though, it's on the sea and not a caye. Mainland south of Dangriga.

We almost bought an island though, I don't know which I would have liked better, but I think it's good thing we made a choice before the prices rise and I am reading they are........

I keep thinking...retirement, retirement smile
Diversity, diversity, its all there laugh
