C.M. Timeshare: shark on the beach, shark booth in town on Middle Street, shark sitting at the back entrance of the resort, shark wondering the town streets... You do learn to recognize them! Tried to give us a day at the resort, all food & drinks included, with a trip to Mexico Rocks thrown in. However, our days were limited & trips already planned. Might be something to consider if you have the time. laugh

Scubabarbi,
For sure you can not go wrong with Ramon's. Loacation in the middle of everything, great dive crew, say "HI", to Elbert(dive master) for me and look for his book in the gift shop there.
Make sure to walk up and down the beach and stop in at the various bars each one has something different ot offer. BC's is up the beach toward town and is a very popular gathering place for many locals, longtimers and returning people to the island. Tell them Tuki Tuki sent you.

We just returned from a stay at Ramon's--we were married there on May 6th and it was great. Just a couple of suggestions to make the stay even better: you can request a mini-fridge for your room--the cost is $5 per day but it is worth it. The rooms are also not that spacious so I would suggest a top floor room if you aren't in the gardenview single cabana. The top floor rooms have beautiful thatched ceilings that make the room much nicer and they feel bigger. The purple parrot in the bar is the best drink--YUM. They told us it is a Pina Colada with Baileys. I think we had one every day we were there. Enjoy! They will take care of all of your needs for sure.

Girl, if you can get da sharks to throw in airfare...go for it! laugh Be sure to have the BBQ at Ramon's while you are there. They do it on Tue. & Fri. The chicken was super and the menu says "baked beans" but they're not what you get in the states...they're even better! wink
