I have to agree with awty. I wanted to bring school supplies as well but after doing some research I found out that there are many other schools that are in A LOT WORSE shape than the one on AC (like awty said, probably due to the kind posters on this board). I've sent an email to Debbie in Dangriga who is on the town council to see what supplies they are in need of (maybe the same person you're in contact with awty). I'm hoping to get two runs in. One for Dangriga and one for another place that may be in need. awty, I'll be sending you an email for some more info.

Of course I can't wait! That's why I need trip reports and pictures. I'm a a a a travelogoholic! laugh I will probably have a heart attack from excitement when we finally board the plane. Everyone here has been so helpful that it would be an injustice for me not to provide a report when we return. I just hope it can be half as good as all of yours. Knowing my crazy husband, I'm sure we'll have many adventures to tell about. He never meets a stranger and if he does, it's probably someone we shouldn't be around anyway. wink

Awty -have enjoyed your reports - you are a saint with all the good work you do and Fuzzy Navel - I feel the same way as you - I don't know how my report will match all the reports I read and as for photos, well, I reckon I might blow up the entire network with my questions - Goody's will be a mere sentence to my queries.

By the Way - Welcome back Goody! I've been thinking about you and missing your jumping, smiley rope icon - Hope all went well and you are on the road to recovery!

ah-gee-wilikers .... now I'm blushing again and red just doesn't look good on me. I had fun writing the reports, and in everything, have learned that a sense of humor will get you out of (and might add "into") many situation. I can't wait to hear about your trips, they will truly benefit those of us who are having withdrawal symptoms.

We'll help ya with ya pics ...!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes...Goody is in no shape to jump rope right now but I didn't change the icon because it will inspire me to get back to my ole self again. Only 10 days after major abdominal surgery...want to do things that this body just ain't ready for....patience is a virtue. Wasn't able to sit in front of the computer for more than a few minutes last week...now I can and if I continue to recup at this rate I should be back to jumpin' in no time.

Really find reading the trip reports relaxing and brings me back to being there only weeks ago...or so it seems...Goody laugh laugh
