Hello,

I'm planning my first trip to AC for January.. We are two adults, a toddler and a baby..

What is the difference between the executive and regular 2-bedroom suites at the Palms?? Is the executive worth the extra cash?? Are they both two floors???

Would the Palms be the place for us with kids? Or should we rent a house??
We want to be very close to town and have a pool and two bedrooms..

Thanks everyone,
Melody

We had unit 32, which would be the southernmost of the two very front units on the 3rd floor. Great view. One bedroom up (with 2 double beds) and a 3/4 bath. The lower floor had a larger bedroom, a king, A bath, the kitchen and living room. Very nice. After 5 nights we were moved to the 2nd floor and spent the remaining 4 days of our vacation in unit 24, which would be the north unit on the 2nd floor. The view was a little obscured by a tree, but the unit also had a rear porch overlooking the rear pool/garden area. This was a great spot when it rained, or when it was windy. It was all on one level, two moderate size bedrooms sharing a bath, with another half bath in the foyer. The kitchen area was a little better as it wasn't tucked under a stairway, and the living room was about the same size. All in all, unless you want a very primo view, I would opt for the regular unit, so you can keep the kids close. Watch the kids around the pool, it is not real big but it is deep on one end.

I might suggest the 2 bedroom unit on the first floor only because you could be in the "beach area" in front of the building while the kids napped and be able to hear them when they wake, be in the room in a flash, etc. Ask Ana which would be the best she has available when you are going to be there. She is a mother of 2 and knows the deal.
