Re: the red one used for stewed chicken

Brought home the largest bag of it I could find and would like to know how long it will keep in the fridge before it goes "bad." :rolleyes: Does it go bad? Anyone tried cutting it into portions and freezing it for future use?

Will be moping when it's all gone and don't want to waste any of it! wink

keeps a long long time. You can get it here too in Latin stores under the name achiote.
