I know it's two months away but is anybody else planning to be there in the beginning of September.
This will be our third trip down in as many years and I just love it there during this time of the season. Wasn't sure we were gonna make it this year due to wife's broken foot! But the cast is off and we're getting siked up for the sand, the water, the atmosphere and the friends we've made down there in paradise!!!!

Our first post - our first trip. My husband & I are in Belize from 9/3-17/04. Thinking about staying on AC the whole time so we don't have to pack and re pack (we're light packers, but lazy), but we want to see a good chunk of the mainland. Does it make sense to try to do daytrips? We have flights but no room reservations yett - do we end up with better prices if we make reservations ahead or wait till we get there? Bannana Beach is looking like our first choce - Comments?

They say you get a better rate if you just show up (walk-in rate) and ask for a room. Last year we did that and got an excellent rate. We just reserved a room at Ruby's for the first couple nights and found a perminent home for the rest of the trip(17 days!)at a great price. I don't know how hard it will be during the Holiday though!

We always travel there (3 times now) during the last week in August through Mid-September. The Holiday last year was fun. We got to hear the school band practicing everyday for the parade! The People were getting everything ready!!! The island was quite festive that week!!!

This year we are winging it and not planning ahead at all. I hope we don't regret doing that!!

Jeff, Looking forward to seeing you again. Looks like our trips will overlap by a couple days. We'll be there 16-23. Got any openings for fishing (for Bruce)?
