Mayan Princess accommodations are great! Nice interiors and fabulous balconies that look out over the water. Second and third floor suites are preferrable to the first floor suites.

There is no pool and no real grounds surrounding the hotel. On the other hand, it is in a great location for getting around, and an excellent location if you are diving with Amigos del Mar.

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

Fleur. go to //www.ambergriscaye.com/pages/town/facts.html then click on 3rd paragraph and it will give you a fantastic map & you can click on most places on it. The Mayan is there. Remember when you look at these maps that the places are much closer than on the map. You can walk from one end of town to the other in a few minutes. You can check a lot of restaurant munus also.

have fun

diveron, you're not kidding about the cup and the lid! Every boat we went out on had twin 200's, one had triple 200's..And they run them with the throttle pegged. Add that to a constant 25 or 30 mph breeze and you can't take a drink out of a normal cup, you just soak down your shipmates. I was very impressed with Daniel of Tanisia Tours. He supplies his guests with cups you can actually drink from at 90mph.

Fleur, take a look at the referenced map. You can stand directly in front of the Catholic church and toss a golf ball underhanded into the middle of central park.

Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

we stay at the mayan princess every time weve been to San Pedro (10 years). Just a great place to stay Rusty and Shiela are great hosts and the staff is very help full. The best meals we ever had were on the balcony on the thrid floor. Lobster and potatoes, and Belikin Beer. Hav a great time,i know you will.

Hey, maybe we should grab some of the kids sippy cups. Never thought about that before. Actually I have a faavorite insulated cup with thight fitting lid I usually drink my coffee from, I think it will do just fine for the Rum Punches on those boat trips.

Bring Sunscreen and bathing suits and sandels and beach towels. Oh yes a light weight tote bag always comes in handy.

The Mayan is very nice have stayed there before getting our own place. Certainly is right in the middle of town and right next door to Fido's. Try the parasailing with Tony from the Fido Dock, it is really great and a one time use camera is a great way to get some really cool pics of the island from a Bird's eye view. Tell Tony Tuki Tuki sent you. He has pics of Tuki Tuki parasailing,it was a blast, costume and all.
