There has to be someone out there that has walked from Banana Beach Resort to San Pedro. I was wondering how long it took to do this? I mean walking along the water, not the road. I'm guessing that this can be done.

Hi Aeriel: Depending on your pace, I would say a good 35-40 minutes. But there are lots of stops along the way to quench your thirst.

must be a slow walk - 20 - 25 more like it ( but I've never seen anyone who can do it without at least ONE stop wink

Okay klcman: Perhaps I didn't time it perfectly. Probably because I stopped in at too many places along the way. Ya tend to forget about time when that happens. Let's compromise at 30 minutes. smile

We stay in town so the only time I've ever walked it is early in the morning, with NO stops until Mata Rocks for a cold Coca Cola Lite. I'd guess about 30 minutes from BC's. Four more weeks and I'll try and time it....

I love that name, Coca Cola Lite. I can't ever get use to it. It's like being in the Southern part of the US, and they ask you what kind of Coke you want. Too funny!

I last stayed at Banana Beach (fine place) about 10 days ago and walked to town in the early morning. Maybe 30 minutes. It's roughly a mile and a half.

It's not something I'd want to do every day in the heat of the day. I always rent a golf cart.

I hear ya cajunman - when I was growing up in the south everything carbonated & non-alcoholic was called a coke. Now everyone in CA calls it soda. I still hear frineds from the midwest call it pop.

We first had coca cola light in Spain. Last year we visited the Coke headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Man, they make a lotta stuff for a lotta different places and coke goes by a lotta different names. Thankfully one of the most important things I've learned from this Board is - no matter where you are - ask for a Belikin! laugh

Hey Canjunman: Yes, we call it a "pop" here in the Northern parts of the states. It is funny how we do that...although "pop" is more of a generic word then "Coke". Anyway, it is what it is, not matter what name someone wants to call it. But I agree with lawcucui, just ask for a Belikin.
