My wife and I will be there 3 full days (plus half days on our arrival and departure days) Thanksgiving week. This is a belated honeymoon for us. We are staying at Victoria House. Mostly we are going for relaxation - have a few drinks on the beach, enjoy the water, have some good food etc. Waiting for confirmation of our half day fishing trip with Severo on our middle day.
Questions:
1. In addition to fishing, what things are a must do/see?
2. My wife is a little cold natured - will she need her sweater while we are enjoying the beach?
3. What are the good places to eat? - I guess I can find that elsewhere on this board.
4. I thought I read that Victoria House has a shuttle running to town and they provide bikes also. True?

We love Caliente by the Spindrift Hotel in town & Sweet Basil up north of the hand ferry. Although one of the owners of Sweet Basil said they were going to close for 6 weeks soon and I cant remember the time frame. Both have Great food, service & view. Have fun.

A light jacket or sweater may be needed in Nov. VH has bikes & golf carts for rent. They will take you town if they are going that way. Not sure that they have a scheduled shuttle. Great place!

Great restaurant on site plus try El Divino (at Banana Beach), Caliente, El Patio, Blue Water Grill, Capricorn, Carambas, and small local places like Papi's, The Reef and the street vendors in town. Too many great restaurants to try in only 3 days! Enjoy!

Don't forget Casa Picasso! Excellent food, atmosphere and host.
El Divino has an awesome hamburger that is so big you can easily feed 2 people. Elvi's has very good Mayan food.
And the street vendor in front of Richie Supermarket had some of the best chicken, beans and coleslaw I've ever had and it was only $4 us.
For drinks - if you like the sweet kind - definately try the bar at Caribe Isle - the Bailey's Pina Colada is to die for.

Time flys - have fun!

Victoria House does have a complimentary shuttle that runs 4 times a day and free bikes for guests. Great place to stay! Enjoy!
