I got 3 tacos for one Belize dollar (.50 US) at Waruyama Snack Bar....not exactly the type of tacos were used to, but hit the spot anyway.....maybe it was Warugama....

I tried several of the vendors down by the basketball courts. 1/4 of a chicken, rice and beans plus potato salad with a large coke was around $5 bz.

Lots of good suggestions above. Also, since you are only going to be there two days, you could pack a box lunch.

Marty: ...thinkin fish burrito...Hmn. For a nice Belizian meal, see Shirley at the Town Square. Caliente's is also very good...and reasonable for lunch. They are in the Spindrift Hotel. Very nice soups and salads with a view of the reef.

Gone fishing!!
