The Caribbean island of Grenada has been devastated by Hurricane Ivan. Reports are that 80% of homes have suffered some damage.
Electricity and Telephone are out and roads are badly damaged or washed away. The Hospital has also been damaged, the Emergency Operation Center Building destroyed, and the Nutmeg crop which is a major income earner for Grenada has been flattened. Each report brings worse news.
If anyone can find it in their hearts, any material or monetary donations are badly needed.
The Consulate General of Grenada has set up a disaster relief fund for monetary donations.
