Well, there's a *little* difference between purchasing and maintaining a few hundred Boeing 7-somethings or Airbuses and flying them all over the world versus a handfull of Cessnas covering a few hundred miles of airspace.
Not that I'm defending Big Air as I have a deep disrespect for several of the major carriers. And although some people argue with me, I've always had good experiences with Continental, everywhere I've flown them. Interesting to note they're not one of the several who are very near the brink, at present.
Good riddance, United and US Airways.
My kids think the Tropic flight every year is a big part of the fun. I agree. Great people and a great way to run an (Belizean) airline.
