Which hotel should we choose?
Does one have better ocean views than the other?
Are they walkable to town?

corona del mar is right next door to coconuts...it's cheaper at corona, and woody and helen will make your stay quite enjoyable....corona has no pool, but if you stay there, you can use the pool at coconuts....also, woody offers free breakfast, and free rum punch....they also have a pier....one of the few hotels that has a generator....just in case of power outages, you will still have a/c, lights, etc....approximately a 10 minute walk to town....and that's going at a snail's pace....if you want value and comfort, and great hospitality, i would highly recommend corona del mar....but don't forget to say hi to margie (bartender) at coconuts....kerry

CORONA DEL MAR. It's like staying in someone's home (well, it is Woody and Helen's home); but the 'family' atmosphere is wonderful. Great staff, you'll love Frank! laugh

I personally have never stayed at Corona del Mar, but everything I have ever heard about it has been glowing.... not one single negative thing.

I'd vote for Corona del Mar. It even has an elevator!

We just returned last month fom Woody's. Great place, we've stayed at many large resort type places and "feel like a number". When we came home we felt like we had a new home away from home. The family size atmosphere, slow pace, and just a great place to hang out will bring us back again and again. We spent most of our time out away with a group, but plan on returning for some time out on the end of the pier doing "not a thing". Very quiet and tranquil there.
and if your up for some activity, just challenge Frank "Island champion" to a game of horseshoes.

If they tell you it won't work over satellite, they didn't try hard enough!
