Allllrrrightttyyyy kids just 11 days to paradise. A few questions from the informed members of the panel. ( why do i feel like i'm on match game 72?) How hot will it be? How cold is the Beliken? Which tour company to see the ruins? (Mr. Sluder perhaps) Flyfishing? (Capt. Jeff maybe) As always, many thanks to all for the help and the posts. Take care and if i'm in AC and you're not, sucks to be you.

way jealous here! only question I can answer is keep trying until you get a really cold Belikin - the first one I had was warm and almost spoiled it for me - the next try was good and cold - not so bad! Have a great time!

Javaman, saw from your other thread you are staying at Xanadu. Just email Susan or Martin and they will have you a case of cold Belikin in your frig when you get there. Cold!

Go to Crazy Canucks located at the Exotic Caye Beach Resort. They really do have the coldest beer in town. When they take it out of the cooler the bottle is actually frosty.

I am so jealous. I don't get back down there until January. Stop by there and tell Christian or Rick, Fluffy said hi. And drink a Belikin or three for ME!!!!!

Javaman: re: flyfishing--Lots of good guides available esp. this time of year. $225-$275/dayUSD. Try Vincent Dawson through Ruby's or Manuel Azueta through Tradewinds. All will pick you up on the dock wherever you're staying. Bonefish are small but plentiful. Really no excuse for not catching 25-30/day, if you want. 6wt. rod(8wt if wind is up),floating WF, 8'leader to 6#, and a bunch of #6-8 crazy charlies in silver or gold. Some with bead chain, others a little heavier. Snappers and jacks are also a hoot on flyrod-simple streamer patterns. Need a 10wt for the baby tarpon(5#-35#). Lemays big eye series is consistantly good in red, yellow, or orange grizzly-2/0. Other?

Flyfishing my way through mid-life crisis.

We've always used "Seaduced" for trips to the Mayan ruins.

Daniel at Tanisha Eco Tours is great! He is very knowledgable about the ruins as well as all of the creatures and plants you will likely see along the way.
