12 days and counting until I'm in AC for the first time, and I'm wondering if there is any kind of coffee shop or other non-alcohol centered evening society. It's not that I don't enjoy rum or won't try a Belikan, but I plan on doing a lot of diving and don't want to abuse my old body too badly. Also, if anyone can give me the skinny on internet access I would be grateful.

There is an internet cafe located a little bit south of the center of town, 2 bucks for 5 minutes, good coffee, quiet.

There are a growing number of internet cafes in town and one south of town, many hotels have access too. I'm sure they all have coffee or Belikin, if you prefer.

Coconet Internet cafe is a couple of doors down from Fido's, right next to Manelleys(sp) ice cream (yum).

Coconet Internet Cafe has great coffee and very reasonable prices. I needed to find an address on the internet and only spent a couple of minutes online. I was only charged $1 Belizian. What a deal.

I used 2 or 3 of the internet cafes when I was there. Paid about $5 for 15 minutes and a Belikin seems like. Great value for keeping in touch with things at home. Much less expensive than phone calls and no international phone tag worries.

Cafe society in San Pedro? No way, Jose!!! Carribean Connections is another Internet Cafe adjacent to Coral Beach Hotel. They serve some really fine coffee from an expresso machine and a nice selection of hot tea. Nice music system, too.

There is a great place run by a nice young couple near the boat dock (forgot the name). It's on the street closest to the water, southwest corner I believe.
