This February will be my seventh(!) time traveling to San Pedro. We have seen much of the interior, and would like to experience something new and different this time. We were thinking of maybe chartering a trip to Placencia, maybe an overnight trip, something along those lines. Does anyone have any ideas or sugestions? Counting the days...

oh yes u should now try and visit down south, that is Placencia...I recommend you stay at Robert's grove or also a place you cannot miss it Lamanai...mainland tours are just a must...

Try Punta Gorda. I was there in Sept and loved it. Very primitive but at least 2 very nice lodges - El Pescador and The Lodge at Big Falls. Greta fishing, ruins & waterfalls. Unspoiled.
