The Saga Humane Society is in desperate need of a new autoclave as the old one is ready to kick the bucket. The autoclave is used to sterilize instruments used in our spay/neuter program and in surgeries on resident pets.
If you know of a vet who may have an old unit or have contact in a vet supply house that may be willing to make a donation we would be eternally grateful.
Please contact email@example.com for more information.

Hey everybody going to AC for Christmas. Please don't forget about ALL those dogs you see on the la isla bonita!!! The Saga Society does what it can to help the situation and they need your help. Cash is always a help to animal groups as they typically are not funded by the gov't. It comes out of the volunteers sweat and tears. Is this correct SimonB?

That's very true, we survive solely on donations from individuals and the private sector. Without them we would cease to exist. We only have 2 part time individuals on staff to run the clinic and the kennels and their salaries come out of funds collected by the clinic. All of the others are volunteers who have their own businesses to run and in some cases multiple jobs.
Every little penny we receive is GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Simon I am a clinical manager in a large medical practice and may have what you are looking for. We may be getting ready to purchace a larger unit for our internal med/surgical practice. I also have access to many other "used" things that you may need. E-mail me @ rambadt@netpenny if you are interested.

Well, it finally happened, the autoclave died and we still haven't been able to source a new one. Dr. Dan is graciously allowing us to use his but we urgently need to replace our broken unit. If there is anyone who can help out please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org (put autoclave in the subject line so it doesn't get lost in all the BTL junk mail) or at simon at lagniappe-belize.com.

I can't carry an autoclave from the UK but I will bring what I can from my main referral practice. I have asked them for donations and I can bring some collars and bits and pieces too. Look forward to seeing your work. I have a friend who is an international consultant on stray programmes. I've seen his work in Eastern Europe and he is very nice. He has great contacts.
