We stayed there a couple times; most recently this past July. We've stayed in a villa and also a casita. The villa is a basic condo set up - living room, full kitchen, table w/chairs, separate bedroom, and bathroom (I can't remember if the bathroom was a shower only or a tub and shower).
The casita is one big room with bed, mini refrigerator, table w/chairs, and the bathroom was a bit smaller and had a shower only.
Both have their own porches. I wouldn't say one is better then the other - just depends on what you want. The casita fulfilled my dream of spending a week in my own thatch roof hut on the beach. It seemed to me the A/C worked better in the villa (less room to have to cool). If it were me, I'd go with the villa. I liked the lay out better.
As for everything else, nice staff, we had a great time and I heard many positive comments from other guests we met there. My neighbors have been twice and really like the place.
