As far as the
Lions Clinic.....everything on that side got hit pretty hard...but can't give you
details. To be honest.....I havent ventured to the back areas on the lagoon
because it's just so bad right now.
Been down to San Pablo area as far as Tropica.....but only on the main drag.
To the back side is a lot of damage. There were people swimming out in
chest deep water. Glad I moved from there. BTW....Mayas Katut is
history.....

Walked the beachfront all the way to Boca Del Rio and the cut yesterday.
Lot of damage there too. All the little mangrove patches now have sand
around their roots instead of water. Got a good 100 yards of fresh
beachfront at the park....it looks really nice......I was the only one there
and thoroughly enjoyed my solitude as the noise in town has been unbearable
with everybody being couped up and all the confusion. The peace and quite
was great!.

Tammy, word has it that you work at the clinic? I work at a regional medical center. I am attempting to collect some supplies for the clinic although am not having great success. It might be better by the time I come down November 13th. Send me a list of what they need and I wil do my best to help. Is Dr. Reyes still there? Dr. Rodriguez?

Hey Kim,
Don't really work at the clinic. I was just lending a hand. We had so many people with medical background chipping in and doing what they could to help.
I was in the medical field as a respiratory therapist for 12 years before coming here.
Not doing medicine now unless a disaster like this comes along...was a little burnt out and needed a change if ya know what I mean. [Linked Image]
I'll see if I can get a current list from Nurse Natalie tomorrow. Some supplies have arrived....just not sure what kind. So let me check to be sure.
Thanks for the help though....will let you know. They can always use supplies, even not in hurricane times. Things get a little scarce sometimes.

I too, would really like a list of supplies,
I've been putting together a list from this

the school I teach and I are going to be
collecting things to send down...lists are
great!

Hey, Tammy! I'm a respiratory therapist- 24 years off and on! And I would guess that you gave a lot of breathing treatments recently! I do want to bring some stuff when I come in November so do send me a list? And how is Dr. Reyes and is Dr. Rodriguez back and well?
send me an email at hazel@midusa.net if you want! Thanks! Kim
