My wife and I are coming down next Nov. for a week.
We are looking for a moderately priced place to stay. We would like a place with a pool, beach, resturant and BAR. (We don't Scuba) in a fun area of A.C. What about Banana Beach resort, or Tropica Beach Resort or any other suggestions??
We have given up on Mexico. (We have our own WalMart and Fast food resturants where we live an don't need to travel to another Country to see them) We like local markets and local SLOW food resturants.javascript:void(0)
Confused

Banana Beach would fit the bill and is one of the best run on the island. Tropica is closing for renovations and may or may not be back open by then. You might also like Ramons, or Exotic Caye. Lots to choose from.

I've been sending my customers to White Sands Cove. The new owner, Michelle, is great and so are their accomodations. The only thing they lack currently is the restaurant but that's easily covered with the fact that one of the island's best, Capricorn, is a very short walk up the beach.

I agree White Sands is awesome. Restaurants won't be a problem as they're a very quick boat or cart ride into town.

cheers!

Try www.belizeisfun.com. It is the Exotic Caye Beach Resort / Playador. Moderately priced, above ground pool, awesome beach bar, and restaurant on site, just on that off chance when you don't want to wander in to town which is only a 10 minute walk.

Have fun!

Hi, we are going this march and I have a friend that lives down there 4 months a year for the past 10 years. I asked him the same and also on this board. we have finally booked at "The Palms"
Check out the web site on this site. It has no restaurant, but it seems you do not need one as San Pedro is one big bar and food outlet. Check it out, we cannot wait. $5000.00 Canadian for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ocean view fro 2 weeks, not bad $2500 per couple, and only 12 units close to town next door to Ramons.

Have a good trip

We stayed at the Palms last year, I think you'll like it. A short walk to food, and a short crawl from BCs. Fair snorkeling off Ramons pier next door and walking distance from the airfield. Pics from last year if you are interested.
