Thanks for the heads up.

There was a better deal than that yesterday. US Air had a 1 day sale. Tickets were available for flights through the end of May.
I wasn't able to get the exact dates that I wanted. But I was able to get 4 tickets (2 couples) from Boston to BZE on 4/26 returning 5/3 for $275 per person including taxes. I couldn't pass that up.
Now I have to find a place to stay. I guess I better contact Barbara sometime soon.

Call or email me. And keep your fingers crossed that USAir is still in business by April! (Sorry but the truth hurts sometimes!)

I got the Farewatcher alert e-mail through Travelocity. Some really good deals, especially if you can head out be end of February, which I can't. Still, American had the cheapest fare I have ever paid to Belize, through the end of May, so now I am going in early May. Yippeee!

Barbara, I mentioned that when I made the reservation. The rep said she didn't think anything would happen. I'll call you soon.

Laurie Mar, I don't suppose that you will arrive before we leave on 5/3?

Mark: You got a great deal from Boston - cheaper than mine from Northern California. I am arriving the day after you leave. Enjoy! Your gang best leave plenty of Belikins and one barrel rum for my arrival. Can't wait for May and excited to go to Placencia for the first time on this trip, before I head over to San Pedro.

Mark,

I honestly wish you good luck with us air. My sister got caught up in their fiasco on christmas eve. When she finally got to her destination, she quickly rebooked her return trip on another airline. The only good thing was she thankfully did not check her luggage or else it would probably be in limbo. She said USAir told so many outright lies it wasn't even funny. Please get trip cancellation insurance - it might be worth it.
