Can anyone tell me about Oasis del Caribe? Are the units nice? Is it an easy walk to town? Where is a nice place to stay, with a kitchen, that is easily accessible to town?

Oasis is a newer small condo complex just a few blocks from town in the Boca del Rio area. Very nice units. A friend owns one.

Papi's is on the same block and a nice beach just a stone's throw.

Good pool also.

My family just spent 10 days at the Oasis del Caribe Dec 10-30th. The condo had everything you would need to live...full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Nice pool, and the beach is right accross the street.

Only a small walk to the center of town, we made the trip several times a day for food and drinks

I was surprised that the beach is across the street! By the looks of the picture, I thought it was oceanfront. Anything else I need to be aware of?

Questions for PACouple and anyone else in the know: Is the Phase 3 contruction progressing?

If so, did the hammering, sawing, etc. cause any problems for those staying in Phase 1 and 2?

Betsy Husband, the beach isn't really across the street. It is more like there is a lightly used roadway on the beach in front.

When we stayed Dec 20-30 there was talk of the third phase starting. Nothing ever happened during our stay.

We were quite happy with the accomodations and the location to towm
