We need vaccines!!! Cholera medicine, malaria medicine!! If you have contacts within the medical field that can send these supplies down, please do so. They are in great demand. Remember, no water means no plumbing! Open sewage spreads disease. Call me if you have any questions.

Ryan, I would think that vaccines and antibiotics should be a RED CROSS thing. You might also call UNICEF and WHO. I don't even know if there is much in the way of cholera vaccines in the states except perhaps on military bases. Wish I could help but I live in Kansas and I bet we have none. Good luck! Kim

I would think that Red Cross would be handling that as well, but I just heard from someone on the island that no vaccines are available, so I have no idea where the Red Cross actually went or is sending stuff. Supposedly they had a team down there last week, but the people I have talked to sure haven't seen them. Who knows!

Just spoke to Patty, she says the original cholera medicine went bad because of no refrigeration. They do have a replacement batch, but would be quite willing to accept any donations along these lines.
