Wow! "La Isla Bonita" comes on the radio as I start to type this! It's a sign! Madonna says "Book it, Brett!" Thanks, Madonna.

Anyway, my future in-laws and a couple other friends talk of how they met lifelong friends on their honeymoons. My fiancee and I are wondering whether we can expect to find fellow honeymooning twentysomethings down there, or if it's a more, shall we say, mature crowd.

Thanks for your help, everyone!

My wife and I are in our mid-30's and met all age groups there. The key word is that everyone was so "FRIENDLY." We still keep in contact with some, and will see some of them when we go back in Feb.

Ha! Odd you should mention Madonna. I just listened to La Isla Bonita too, though on purpose.

Anyway, my fiancee and I are planning on going down to AC in a week and a half, and hope to make new friends as well. We're both in our 20s and just got engaged (so this won't be quite a "honeymoon", but the intent is similar, I spose)... so there ya go!

"Age" is a state of mind.

I know many in their 20's and 30's who are old fuddy-duddies and many in their 40's, 50's and older who like me, are afflicted with the Peter Pan syndrome.

You'll find more of the latter on AC than the former. laugh

Amen. My wife says that my inner child is very close to the surface.

Dear Jfabes, I can assure you, if you are in your mid 20's, you won't be wandering around alone for long. Do what my 19 year old son always does when he is on vacation with us. He rents a sailboat and asks women his age if they would like to learn how to sail. He is never without a date on any of our vacations. As a matter of fact, I can hardly ever get the computer away from him when he is home from college because he is busy e-mailing his "dates" from all over the world. His favorite sailing date was Christine from Denmark.
